Meet Ana

Prestige DMC is led by Ana Montesino, a bilingual tourism professional originally from Argentina, where she began her career in 1997 organizing congresses and conventions and later working in a travel agency. In 2002 she made Costa Rica's South Pacific her home, where her daughters were born and where she has built her career ever since.

She arrived in the Dominical area during the early days of its tourism development. At Hotel Villas Río Mar she created the area's first inbound tourism department, and later served as Reservations & Marketing Manager at Hotel Cuna del Ángel, part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts network.

In 2009 she founded Prestige Weddings & Events, while also managing properties for foreign investors and providing concierge services for travelers. That experience covers the full picture: property administration, vacation-rental operations, staff management and guest services.

Ana has also lived the investor's journey herself. She designed, built and operates her own vacation rental, Casa Aluem, facing the same decisions, permits and operational challenges her clients face today.

She holds a Licentiate in Tourism from Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (Argentina), officially recognized in Costa Rica by UNED as a Bachelor's in Sustainable Tourism Management. This recognition qualifies her to practice professionally and provide tourism assessments for development projects, including maritime-zone concessions and protected areas. She is a member of ACOPROT, the Costa Rican Association of Tourism Professionals.

In 2023 she brought all her experience together under Prestige DMC, so every client, whether traveling, celebrating or investing, receives honest, direct guidance from someone who has done it firsthand.
